We are thrilled to launch Classic Cares, our new Corporate Giving Program at Classic LifeCare. As a company deeply committed to giving back to our communities, Classic Cares formalizes our community efforts and ensures that community engagement remains a top priority in our roles.
The Formation of Classic Cares
At the start of 2023, we created our strategic priorities, one of which included Health and Wellness. Classic LifeCare is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our staff, our clients, and our communities. Classic Cares aligns with this priority, creating a sense of achievement for our employees while making a positive impact in our communities.
In the home care industry, we witness the struggles faced by many individuals n a daily basis. Our communities play an integral role in our business, bringing joy to our work. It is our responsibility to give back and support organizations in need within each community we serve. We are eagerly looking forward to meeting and collaborating with members of the Vancouver, Comox Valley, Prince George, and Calgary communities.
Classic Cares Encompasses Five Important Pillars
We created five pillars which include the following:
- Giving and Volunteering: We believe in making a positive impact by actively participating in charitable giving and volunteering initiatives.
- Employee Wellness: We prioritize the well-being of our employees and strive to create a healthy and supportive work environment.
- Community Engagement: Engaging with our communities is at the heart of Classic Cares. We actively seek opportunities to connect with local organizations and make a meaningful difference.
- Environmental Protection: We are committed to environmental sustainability and take steps to minimize our ecological footprint.
- Education & Information Sharing: Sharing knowledge and information is crucial for empowering individuals and organizations within our communities.
Classic LifeCare Walks for Alzheimer’s
On Sunday, Classic LifeCare took part in our first official community activity. The Vancouver team joined the IG Wealth Management Walk For Alzheimer’s along the Vancouver Seawall. We donated to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada to support the individuals affected and research to combat this disease in the future. It was an inspiring event, seeing hundreds of people walk together in support of Alzheimer’s disease.
How Classic Cares Will Remain a Top Priority
Classic Cares will be unique for each of our branches. Our employees can explore the local activities happening in their areas. They are welcome to participate in various events that support a wide range of causes and people.
