Cathy Lee is Dedicated to Client and Employee Happiness
Freshly back from a European excursion, Client Care Coordinator Cathy Lee (pictured on right at the Fountain of Trevi in Rome, Italy) is back to work at Classic LifeCare coordinating clients and health care workers.
Cathy spent September 5-16 exploring London, Paris, Lucerne, Venice, Florence and Rome.
“My favorite part was gelato and Italy,” she says.
As a Client Care Coordinator, Cathy’s job is to match clients with appropriate health care workers. She spends about half of her time on the phone with clients and staff.
“It’s not just about matching schedules, but also matching ability and a health care worker’s skills to do the work required by a client.”
She says the most difficult part of her job is trying to staff clients in areas where there are not many health care workers available.
“It’s also difficult to deal with last minute cancellations by health care workers. We understand that life happens and schedules change, but we’re not super human. I would encourage employees to try to give us as much notice as possible if they need to make a scheduling change. That would make my job a lot more enjoyable.”
Cathy also has HR responsibilities and participates in the hiring of new employees.
In her spare time, she works as a makeup artist and has a company called CL Makeup Art.
Cathy says the best part of her job at Classic is making clients happy.
“It’s always nice when we get comments from clients that things are going really well and they are happy with Classic.”
